Some of you may know that I went to London last week (and that I absolutely loved it), so here's what I bought!
1. Elephant earrings -- accessorize -- £ 5 (€ 6,90)
I don't have a good explanation as for why I bought these, I just saw them and needed them in my life. That's all.
2. Naked 3 palette -- Urban Decay -- £ 37 (~ € 46)
I've wanted this palette ever since it came out, it's not available where I live (they just do NOT sell urban decay here... Anywhere...) so I had to take this opportunity to finally get it.
I played around with it these last days and I really really love it. It had great pigmentation, it doesn't fall down or 'runs away'. It just stays on your eyes like you would expect from a decent eye shadow.
Conclusion: I love it. If you're thinking about getting it, just get it.
3. Anti blemish solutions foundation -- Clinique -- £ 24 (€ 30)
Up to this point I've only really used BB cream. This foundation has a decent good coverage in my opinion and it feels really light on the skin, though I'm still making up my mind on whether I will re-purchase it or not.
4. Top and Base coat -- Kiko -- around £ 4 (oops I forgot)
It's good. Not the best, but good. I like it.
5. Face Make-up Brush -- Kiko -- around £ 10 I think (aaaah I forgot again)
I use this to apply my foundation. It does the job, but I think I'm going to buy another (real) foundation brush.
6. The Rocket Volum' Express -- £ 13 (~ € 16)
I stocked up on these mascaras because I love them, and i wasn't really planning on trying something else. Also, this is cheap as hell! I normally pay them € 13, which is a little more them £ 10. Now I've got 3 for just a little more money! CRAZY!

SUGAR DISCOVERIES
Since this morning, I am back from my trip to Italy. I had an amazing time over there and I really can't wait to go back.
Obviously, when in Italy, you have to go shopping. While in Verona, city of Romeo and Juliet, I discovered the Italian make up brand KIKO. I ended up buying these three wonderful nail lacquers:
sugar mat:
kiko sugar mat; colour number 633 |
The first colour I choose turned out a little different than I expected. I thought this was just an ordinary mat colour, but as you can see, the container says Sugar Mat. The texture feels like sand and it looks like you sprinkled sugar over your nails. I have never in my life seen a nail polish like this (here in Belgium at least), so I'm actually kind of happy I actually bought this. It's something different than what I'm used to, and I defenitely like it!
fall colour:
kiko; number 325 |
In my opinion, this colour is more something for fall, so I didn't try it out yet, and just like the next one, It's just a regular nail lacquer. I'm really looking forward to trying this out in fall and winter!
dark grey:
kiko; number 382 |
Then the last nail polish I bought was this dark grey, almost black one. I believe it's actually the second darkest colour in their collection after black. I probably won't use this in summertime, I feel like this is a colour you should use in winter, because it's just too dark for summer...
what it looks like:
In this picture, you can see what the pink sugar mat laquer looks like. You can't see it very well, but it kind of gives you an idea of what it's like.
