Essie's 'The lace is on'

As I was shopping earlier this week between classes, I discovered they started selling Essie nail polishes at the local drugstore. I've wanted to try this brand for quiet a while now, so  I decided to buy one.

I bought a shade out of their fall collection, 270 The lace is on. The colour is something between pink and purple, and there is some shimmer, sparkle in it. Anyway, I tried it out earlier today and so far I'm really liking it. I do think it could use a topcoat though, to prevent chipping, which I didn't apply.

The things I like about it:

• It had a slightly rounded brush, which makes it easy to apply
• It's very pigmented
• It covers very well.
